Apprentice Bartender

Primary responsibilities are maintaining, ordering and the rotation of stock in the liquor and soda room. Help control beverage costs through proper transferring of product. Daily cleaning and maintenance of bars. Clean and organize bar to beverage and health department standards. Replenish and stock fruit trays, beer coolers and mixers. Ensure that bar is maintained and left stocked and cleaned for next shift. Deliver orders from warehouse to bars. Ensure proper set up, stocking and delivery of liquor supplies, glasses and ice. Maintains cleanliness of pump room, soda room, coolers and equipment. High School Diploma or equivalent is required and six month experience in a high volume hotel/ casino or night club required. Must have or acquire CARE Certification. Must be 21 years of age or older.

Assistant Restaurant Manager

This position assists in the management of the entire restaurant operations by being responsible for upholding Gold Strike service and appearance standards,policies and procedures. An Associate's degree in Hospitality, Management or related field of study is required and two years high volume restaurant management or supervisory experience required or an equivalent combination of education,training and experience. Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

Banquet Server

This position services our guests with quality service and maintain the high standards set forth by Gold Strike and the department. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required and one-year of server experience or an equivalent combination of education,training and experience.

Bartender - Full Time

This position prepares and serves cocktails to servers and /or guests. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required and one year bartending experience in a high volume hotel/casino or nightclub setting or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Must be at least 21 years of age or older. Must have or be able to obtain a CARE card.

Beverage Manager

Supervises casino floor, service bars, and all beverage outlets. Maintains standards in quality of all beverage services. Ensures efficiency of service through physical observations in the casino and back of the house areas. Represents needs of department to the Director of F&B. Assists in maintaining company and departmental health and safety standards. Responsible for discipline of employees, maintaining accurate paperwork for payroll, records, and employment. Assists in overseeing of ordering and maintaining of par levels for each beverage outlet. Reduces waste and breakage of all products. Conducts pre-shift meetings and relay pertinent information to the staff. Checks for proper appearance standards among all beverage personnel. Checks cleanliness of bars. Checks levels of products in each outlet. Adjusts staffing levels as business dictates. Manages staff to ensure they are following proper policies and procedures. Achieves all Service, Financial and Human Resources goals set forth by the VP of F&B. Bachelor degree in Hospitality or related field and six years management experience in a high volume hotel and or casino beverage department or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Management experience in a high volume hotel and or casino beverage department. Knowledge of all beverage equipment. Computer skills required. Excellent communication skills required. Must speak, read, write and understand English.

Beverage Supervisor

Management Associate Program (MAP)

The Management Associate Program (MAP) extends recent college graduates the opportunity to apply their bachelor’s or master’s degree skills to a challenging job in the casino resort industry over a 12-month program starting each July. Management Associates rotate through departments within their division of interest. Associates engage in the community through volunteer activities, learn best practices and operational strategies from top leaders each month in a classroom series we call “Division Leader Series”, and spend time networking with top leaders at each of our properties in a learning series called “Resort Knowledge Days.” On top of being developed into a leader within our organization, Associates learn all roles and responsibilities from line-level to management over the year-long program to build solid career foundation. Program Requirements: Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis, minimum of 1 year of cumulative work and/or internship experience, participate in the full length of the Management Associate Program: 12 months, overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher on a United States 4.0 scale, ability to submit university-issued transcripts, audition tapes/essays, upon requests, have successfully completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree within 18 months prior to the start of the Management Associate Program (December 2013 – May 2015), obtain a Gaming License, Food Handler’s Card or other certificates and licenses, if required. Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of volunteer or active student organization leadership experience, overall cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher on a United States 4.0 scale, 2+ years of previous work experience in consumer products, hospitality, advertising, marketing and/or management, demonstrated analytical ability with strong communication skills.

Restaurant Manager

Ability to positively coach employees & have strong leadership abilities. Must be familiar with progressive discipline. Assists Room Chef in monitoring overtime and staff motivation. Oversees product consistency and makes necessary modifications according to business needs. Monitors waste and over production, as well as utilizes leftovers, and ensures proper rotation and quality control. Assists Room Chef in monitoring training of new employees to help them achieve higher status and monitoring and enforcing Company & departmental safety policies, Health Department Standards and all other applicable standards. Responsible for assisting Room Chef in maintaining the overall cleanliness and equipment maintenance of their areas and assists Room Chef in preparation of menu.

Wok Cook

Follows recipes and/or product directions for preparing and wok-cooking all specified menu items; works with a sense of urgency to meet timely goals while adhering to recipe standards, and displays an attention to detail and food presentation. Tastes products, follows menus, estimates food requirements, checks production and keeps records in order to accurately plan production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment as needed. Maintains quality control for all products, including monitoring freshness of product. Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment. Identifies and informs the Chef regarding any problems on station. Utilizes proper food handling techniques following health and safety standards. Maintains proper stocking of assigned stations. Maintains good communication skills. Assists Chef in menu preparation, service and breakdown of function. Capable of working in public on live stations and maintaining superior appearance standards. High School Diploma or equivalent and three years high volume wok cooking experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Extensive knowledgeable of wok style techniques and cooking methods. Must be able to speak, read and write English.
