Innovative Dance Club Takes Tunica Nightlife to the Next Level
TUNICA, Miss. - Dec. 19, 2008 - Gold Strike has taken Tunica nightlife into a new dimension with the opening of Red Door. Catering to the sexy and sophisticated party set, Gold Strike's nightclub is fast becoming the destination of choice for discriminating club-goers and offers the hottest dance venue in the greater Memphis area.
Red Door is open from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. every Friday and Saturday. Located at the top of the escalators, inside the Millennium Theater at Gold Strike Casino Resort, The Red Door showcases contemporary Asian décor with themes of water, wind and fire. The upscale party place features a large dance floor, three VIP sections, beautiful professional dancers, and a focal feature bar providing premium liquor. Red Door's extensive drink menu features classics alongside unique signature cocktails.
"The opening of Red Door comes on the heels of Gold Strike's multi-million dollar property renovation- the largest in the resort's history," said George P. Corchis, Jr., president and chief operating officer of MGM MIRAGE's Mississippi Operations, which includes Gold Strike Casino Resort in Tunica and Beau Rivage in Biloxi. "We thought what better way to close the door on a historic year than celebrate with the opening of a new one- Red Door."
Well-known DJ's from around the country, including resident DJ Crumbz, spin the hottest mixes and keep the dance floor packed all night using a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system. The entertainment lineup will change frequently and a special New Year's Eve party is planned to celebrate the club's opening. Club attire, is defined as "dress to impress," and is required. Ladies always get in free and guests must be 21 years or older.
